     •      The 1st Annual General Body meeting of Pakistan Chest Society previously scheduled on 02 November, 2025 is now held on 16 November, Sunday at 1000 hours in the company registered office, Islamabad.

Pakistan Chest Society has proved to be an excellent forum for the Leading pulmonologists of the country to interact with each other and younger pulmonologists to offer best possible medical care to the community. The society has been run very smoothly by its devoted leadership over 30 years and has always strived to grow with time. On 18 Aug 2025, the society entered into a new era, whereby it got registered under section 42 of the companies act, 2017 with Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan. This shall provide us an opportunity to transform the society in such a way that all of its activities are well monitored by state institutions for compliance of all the rules and regulations. I have no doubt that Pakistan Chest Society is going to emerge as a role model for similar societies in Pakistan.

Online Course: Certificate in Clinical Research

Dear Colleagues,

The Research Committee of the Pakistan Chest Society (PCS) is pleased to announce a Research Certificate Course aimed at enhancing research skills among pulmonologists. This course provides comprehensive training in research methodology, scientific writing, and publication ethics — empowering participants to contribute meaningfully to the field of respiratory medicine.

Course Fee: PKR 50,000 (Fee waived for selected candidates!)

Eligibility: Pulmonologists holding FCPS Pulmonology or equivalent qualification.

Deadline: 15th November 2025
